Vintage Empoli (Italy) hand-blown art glass covered candy dish in a striking aqua/teal, circa 1950s–70s. Classic footed form with a domed conical lid and applied ball finial — Empoli genie silhouette. Hand-blown and unmarked, as Empoli pieces almost always are. Confirmed uranium glass: it glows a vivid, even green under UV/blacklight while reading aqua/teal in daylight. Note that Vaseline glass refers to the yellow-green daylight type — this is the less-common teal uranium variety, prized by UV-glass collectors. A genuine statement piece for collectors, or a glowing candy/trinket jar and display accent. 8.5 tall with the lid, 5.5 across the bowl.
