LE Smith Scottie Dog Creamer Vintage 1930s

This vintage LE Smith pressed glass Scottie dog is a versatile and charming piece of decor from the 1930s. Originally designed as a creamer, its unique shape also makes it ideal as a pipe rest or a small candy dish. (It would also make a cute planter for small succulents.) This was originally included with Post Grape Nuts cereal and designed after FDR's beloved pet dog, Fala! Crafted from clear glass, this dog features a nice textured pattern, making it a delightful addition to any collection of vintage glassware or Scottie dog-themed decor. Approximate Measurements: 5.75 X 3 X 2. In good vintage condition with age as pictured. (there is a small chip near one of the ears that can be felt, there is also a very small line near the ear that may have been part of the manufacturing process. It’s also uncertain if the tip of that ear was part of manufacturing or if it have been dropped at some point. The top of the ear is smooth.) Please keep in mind that when buying vintage you are buying something that has been pre-loved. Vintage items are old and used so they may show wear and/or manufacturers imperfections. Please examine photos carefully before purchasing. Colors may also appear slightly different due to the nature of color variation from monitor to monitor. I do my best to note any flaws and include in my photographs. I have a smoke free, pet friendly home. Items purchased from my closet are shipped timely and with care! Thank you for looking!
