Handcrafted Oak Wood Trug Basket Signed Studio Craft Brass Hardware Cottagecore

Solid oak, brass rivets, and a maker's signature — this is not a basket you find at HomeGoods. This handcrafted trug is built from solid oak with a pivoting center handle secured by brass rivets on both sides. The interior and exterior surfaces feature deeply routed concentric groove detailing — a design choice that reads as both Art Deco and mid-century modern, lending this piece a studied, intentional quality. The angled end cuts and stacked-edge profile give it a sculptural silhouette that works as well displayed on a shelf as it does holding letters, herbs, or gathered stems. Signed by the maker on the underside cross-brace. Construction shows real woodworking skill: clean joinery, consistent grain orientation, brass hardware in good patinated condition. Measures 13 x 7 inches collapsed flat. Upright: 6.5 inches wide, 9.5 inches handle-to-base. No cracks, no splitting, structurally sound. Perfect for: cottagecore kitchen display, entryway catch-all, herbal or flower gathering, dark academia desk styling, or gift for the person who wants nothing mass-produced. Every piece has a past.
