📕 Out of Print, Vintage The Hanging of Billy Calder [Bill Yaeger] Western Decor

Vintage and out of print The Hanging of Billy Calder by Bill Yaeger, new, Western decor book. Includes a number of black and white photos. It measures 5 1/2” wide by 8 1/2” tall. Republished by News-Argus Printing in 1995, 75 pages. “What I’ve tried to do is to give the reader a feel for the life and times in Central Montana back then, using Billy Calder‘s crime and execution as a vehicle. While I’ve researched the court records for facts on the case, the story is told mainly by what the colorful newspapers had to say about it. I’ve tried not to do more than simply describe a singular and unique event in Fergus County’s history. . . . The hanging is described as graphically as it really was, just as the crime which prompted the execution was violent and brutal.” -from the Preface New to Poshmark?
