This beautiful 1970s handmade patchwork quilt features a soothing mix of soft blues, greens, and whites, all arranged in simple square blocks that feel both classic and tranquil. Created with polyester fabrics—very typical of 1970s quilting trends—and hand-stitched with approximately five stitches per inch, it carries the unmistakable charm and character of truly handmade work.  Measuring approximately 82 x 85, it was photographed on a double (full) size bed to help illustrate scale. The stitches are tucked inside the top layer so that most stitching is visible only on the underside, a technique favored by many home quilters during this era. The quilt is warm, lightweight, and ideal for layering or display. It remains in excellent vintage condition overall, with only a few small areas of discoloration on the underside—common for quilts of this age and use.
