Vintage Royal Dansk Covered Cookie Tin Retro 1970s Danish Modern Hedebo

This vintage Royal Dansk covered cookie tin features a striking Danish Modern crewel-style Hedebo design, inspired by historic seat cushion embroidery from Hedebo, part of the National Museum of Copenhagen. Produced in the 1970s, this piece reflects the era's love of bold folk motifs paired with clean Scandinavian form. The round tin is decorated with vibrant embroidered-look florals across the lid and sides, set against a dark background for dramatic contrast. The interior is unlined metal, making it ideal for storage, display, or repurposing for sewing notions, letters, or collectibles. Condition is good vintage overall, with wear consistent with age and use. There is some paint loss, most noticeable along the white rim surrounding the lid design, along with light surface scratches throughout. These details are cosmetic and typical for a tin of this era, adding to its authentic vintage character. Dimensions: Height: 3.25 Width: 10.5 Depth: 10.5 Interior: approx. 10 diameter x 3 high A wonderful example of 1970s Danish Modern design, perfect for collectors of Scandinavian décor, Royal Dansk enthusiasts, or anyone who loves bold vintage storage with personality. Your home should tell the story of who you are, and be a collection of what you love. ― Nate Berkus, The Things That Matter
