Vintage Bronze Three Wise Monkeys Lily Pad Trinket Tray

Vintage bronze three wise monkeys tray inspired by the Japanese San-Zaru maxim: see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. Three individualized monkeys support a beautifully detailed lily pad with realistic veining and naturalistic edges. Heavy and substantial for its size, this versatile piece works wonderfully as a jewelry dish, ring holder, soap tray, candle stand, trinket catchall, or decorative accent. The rich bronze finish is accented by touches of verdigris on the lily pad, adding character and an organic appearance reminiscent of a real water lily leaf. A whimsical yet traditional design with excellent sculptural detail throughout. Size: Approximately 3” tall. Lily pad measures 5” across. Approximately 7.5” from monkey to monkey. Condition: Very good vintage condition. Structurally solid and sturdy. Light age-related wear and verdigris patina present on the lily pad, enhancing its natural appearance. No noted structural issues. NPK(psh,wn)-
