Vintage 1980s Gorham Silverplate Drum Coin Bank, Red Snare Drum, Musician Gift

Vintage Gorham silverplate drum coin bank with bright red body panels and twisted rope-style silverplate detailing throughout. Styled after a snare or marching drum, this small-scale bank has a strong band-room and musician gift feel while also appealing to collectors of vintage coin banks and Gorham silverplate pieces.  The polished silverplate frame contrasts beautifully against the translucent red body, giving it a very clean late 20th century decorative look. The original Gorham Silver Original sticker remains on the underside along with the impressed Gorham EP YC86 mark. Two screw fasteners on the bottom allow access to stored coins beneath the black rubber foot plate.  This is one of those compact vintage desk or shelf pieces that displays surprisingly well because of the dimensional drum hardware and reflective finish.
