Vintage MCM Salt and Pepper Shaker Set Ceramic Boy and Girl

Vintage MCM Boy and Girl Ceramic Salt and Pepper Shaker Set. The boy is the salt and the girl is the pepper as depicted by the letters on the base. The barefoot boy has brown hair and is ‘wearing’ black overalls with a green shirt. Two holes at the top for dispensing the salt. The barefoot girl has blonde hair and is ‘wearing a green dress with a black shawl over top. Three holes at the top for dispensing the pepper. Each shaker measures approximately 5” tall with a 2” base. There is a stopper on the bottom of each shaker and Japan is stamped on the bottoms. Condition: Brand new and never used. There is no paint chipping or wear. My parents received this set as a wedding gift in the mid-50s but never used it. It’s been sitting in the cupboard all this time. They kind of remind me of The Flintstones. I always admired it but now that they’re gone, it’s time to let them go. A cute set that will surely get compliments when you use them.
