Handmade crewel art, embroidered chain stitch often silk or silk blend on cotton. Usually made in Kashmir, Gabba, Jamnu and Namda. Chain stitch - natively known as Jalakdozi. On Hessian cloth, hand made canvas like cotton cloth. Done with an Air - Aari hook instead of a needle. Great workmanship. Condition very good, no stains or damage. See pics. Best as a wall hanging, could be used on a floor if no traffic. Colors are cream, pale green, robins egg blue, aqua, gray, brown, gold, and ecru - off white.
