Vintage PIERRE BALMAIN PARIS All Silk Red Classic Tie, 3.75”

Graphic concentric circles play between reds, whites, blacks, and yellows on this bold vintage PIERRE BALMAIN PARIS tie. The smooth silk gives a refined sheen allowing the bold geometric patterns and colors to speak for themselves. Very modernist, maximalist. A nearly 4” width makes this piece stand out with a retro vibe.  All silk; hand made Classic length & width; 3.75” blade Condition: Very good vintage! No large holes, stains, or tears. One strand of silk seems to have been pulled from the front of the tie leaving a stripe—it’s not visible in all lights, so it’s pictured in low light. It’s neither glaring nor sloppy looking. Light wear may be present as is expected with time! All condition photographed.  About: PIERRE BALMAIN was a French fashion designer who founded the House of Balmain in Paris in 1945, known for his elegant, feminine silhouettes that defined postwar Parisian couture.
