English Silver Mfg Corp VTG Ice Bucket Glass Vacuum Liner MCM Barware USA
N/A
Vintage Ice Bucket English Silver Mfg Corp Glass Vacuum Liner MCM Barware USA 1940s Up for auction is a beautiful, authentic mid-century ice bucket from the English Silver Mfg. Corp (New York). This piece features a classic trophy-style silhouette with ornate, scrolled handles and a matching lid. Condition & Usability Note: This item is being sold as-is, primarily due to the decorative finial handle on the lid having broken off (see photos). Importantly, the ice bucket remains 100% usable. The lid still sits securely and can be easily lifted by the edges or the base of the finial. The broken handle is included and sits perfectly in place for display purposes; it can stay as-is for decor or be easily repaired with solder or epoxy. The silverplate body shows a heavy, authentic vintage patina and some pitting. You can choose to polish it to a high shine or leave the tarnish for a moody, shabby chic antique aesthetic. Fully Functional: Despite the lid handle, the vacuum insulation is intact and ready to hold ice for your next gathering. Original Glass Liner: The interior features a Vacuum Insulated silvered glass liner in great condition. Ornate Detail: Elaborate scrolled side handles and a footed base. Hallmarked: Stamped on the bottom with the MRR shield, English Silver Mfg. Corp, and Made in U.S.A. Height: 10 inches (to top of lid handle) Width: 9.5 inches (handle to handle) Diameter: 7 inches (at widest part of the bowl)
