Vintage Thai Sawankhalok Style Bird Ewer Celadon Glaze Pottery Goose Pitcher 8"
This striking 8-inch ceramic ewer is crafted in the historic Thai Sawankhalok (Sukhothai kingdom) tradition. The figural pouring vessel features a zoomorphic spout modeled as a bird's head, an elegant high-looped handle, and a globular body decorated with iron-brown underglaze slip depicting stylized wings and feathers under a heavily crackled celadon glaze finish. Measurements: • Height: 8.5 • Width: 6.5 Great vintage condition with no structural chips or cracks. Features a dense, authentic network of age-crazing throughout the glaze. The base features a raw, unglazed dark stoneware foot rim with typical kiln residue and potting marks as seen in photos. We carefully select every item and believe in transparency. In the case of vintage or pre-owned items, we don't always know their full history, but we have high standards and won't list or sell anything we wouldn't use ourselves. All items come from a smoke-free home.
