Danish Modern Ashtrays Moss Green Retro Tobacciana Man Cave MCM

The Items being offered are a pair of Vintage, USA Ceramic Mid Century Modern Ashtrays which are in excellent condition. There are scuff marks on the bottom of both ashtrays as they were used by my parents for years from the 60's until they quit smoking. I call the color Moss Green but it depends on the light and angle from which you look. Sometimes dark green and sometimes a more light green. I am assuming the glaze has an effect on the color.  I have yet to find these ashtrays on any sitet, so they must be hard to come by. Faintly on the bottom of both items is the number 40, USA and another word which I can not discern. They re approximately 6 inches across and 2 inches deep.  You will be delighted with these ashtrays. I have used them for years to hold smaller pieces of jewelry on my dresser. They will make a great display in a Man Cave of a Steeler's fan or any other sports fanatic with green team colors. Use them in a foyer to hold keys and change.  Thank you for looking.
