Description
Vintage Scherenschnitte paper cutting art depicts a serene rural landscape featuring a covered bridge, rustic fencing, and a farmhouse nestled among trees. Handcrafted by Brenda Miller of Brenda's Crafts in Myerstown, PA, this intricate silhouette work is mounted in a classic wood frame under glass. The piece showcases the traditional German folk art style of scissors cutting, historically significant in Pennsylvania Dutch culture. The cream-colored paperless cutout contrasts sharply against a dark background, creating a striking visual depth that captures a nostalgic country scene.
