Description
This is a ceramic apple baker baking dish from The Original Apple Baker, likely made in Paris, Maine. It is a hand-crafted ceramic dish designed specifically for baking apples. The central post allows the apple to cook from the inside out, resulting in a quick and perfect bake. The dish features a cream-colored interior and a hand-painted blue decorative pattern around the edge. It is lead-free and typically microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. No chips or cracks. Each one measures approximately 2 inches tall and approximately 6 1/2 inches in diameter. Recipes often suggest coring an apple, placing it on the post, and adding butter, water, and spices before baking. 4-06186
