Corning 055002K5120003M LC-ST Duplex Multimode Fiber Patch Cable-3 Meters

Corning 055002K5120003M LC-ST Duplex Multimode Fiber Patch is a 3-meter, duplex multimode (OM1, 62.5/125 µm) fiber optic jumper featuring LC to ST-compatible connectors. It utilizes a tight-buffered zipcord design with a 2.0 mm outer diameter per leg . The cable is riser-rated (OFNR) and comes in an orange jacket, making it suitable for indoor backbone and horizontal cabling applications . This assembly is factory-tested and RoHS compliant, ensuring reliable performance in data center and enterprise network environments. Key Compatibility Features: Connector Types: LC to ST LC (Lucent Connector) is typically used in high-density network environments (like switches or SFP modules). ST (Straight Tip) is more common in legacy systems and building distribution. Fiber Type: OM1 (62.5/125 µm) Multimode Designed for short-range communication (up to 300 meters at 1 Gbps, shorter for higher speeds). Cable Rating: OFNR (Riser-rated) Suitable for vertical runs (between floors), but not for plenum spaces (air ducts). Length: 3 meters Use Case: Enterprise networks, data centers, and campus environments where LC and ST terminations are present. Compatibility Considerations: Transceivers/SFPs: Must be multimode and match connector types (LC on one end, ST on the other). Patch Panels: Should support LC and ST ports or use adapters. Wavelengths: Typically 850 nm for OM1; ensure your equipment supports multimode operation.
