Reserved. Winter Noragi - Indigo Noragi with Full Sashiko Stitching on the Front - Boro

This is a piece from my cherished collection.
Its thickness makes it ideal for a winter coat.
It has never been used since purchase.

This is an exceptional Boro Noragi with outstanding thread and color.
The sashiko stitching, spaced at 13mm intervals, is meticulously done, and the indigo dye gradation is superb. The sashiko is not too fine, giving the kimono a soft and airy feel.

Both the front and back have retained their color beautifully, with a lovely aged texture throughout.
It is in good condition, with plenty of fabric strength and weight remaining.
It can be worn as is, without any alterations, as a coat, or it is also suitable for display.
While many Boro kimonos have a strong individual character, this one is elegant and clean, making it suitable for everyday wear.

It would also look wonderful displayed as interior decor in a living room or shop.

The images make the color appear brighter overall. In reality, it is a deep, subdued indigo blue.

It weighs 1.1 kg and is solidly constructed, giving a sophisticated and stylish impression when worn.
