Vintage Slide Money Clip Tie Bar Signed Swank

Estate 1-Owner, Vintage - my research dates this as 1950s, Signed Swank, Tie Bar or Money Clip. This is a slide-style bar, not clip-style. Some fading and scratches to gold tone metal. The inlaid piece looks like brown alligator leather, but I have no idea what it is, and it does have some spots from wear. It appears glued and is starting to lift on one end. Please note, the integrity of glue can be challenged by the mere age of an item and further challenged by climate fluctuations and vibrations during shipment. Should this come loose during shipping, item will be carefully wrapped and sealed to contain and protect pieces. Please see all pictures and video to aid in description and for signs of age and wear. Besides first 2 photos, all pics & video taken with overhead light on, no filters used. Such a fun piece of history!
