Vintage Bride’s Quilt Hand Stitched Album Quilt Eliza Baile Queen Colorful FLAWS

Vintage Bride’s Quilt, a reproduction of Eliza Jane Baile’s Iconic Album Quilt. Hand appliquéd and quilted, this colorful quilt features different floral blocks with beautiful detail, including floral wreaths, strawberry vines, birds and butterflied. One block has a scroll with the inscription, “Sweet Flowers Bright as Indian Sky”. It has a red binding and a plain white backside.  This quilt will not be for picky buyers as it does show signs of age and use, including several small stains and faint yellow marks, tattering on some of the binding and appliqués, some small holes on the top side (they don’t go through) and some seam separations on some of the appliqués. Some fabrics show fading. It has been gently laundered, but a gentle soak may brighten up the White a bit.  Despite the imperfections, this quilt shows beautifully.  Quilt measures approx 84” x 87”.
