Vintage Hard Plastic Doll 14" Auburn Braided Crown Wig Green Sleep Eyes

A lovely vintage hard plastic girl doll, approximately 14 inches tall, dating to the early 1950s. She features green/hazel glass sleep eyes with real upper lashes and painted lower lashes, a closed painted red mouth, and painted brows. Her auburn wig is styled in a beautiful braided crown updo and is in very good condition with the style fully intact.  She wears a later navy blue calico dress with lace-trimmed apron overlay, white knit socks, and black mary jane shoes. No markings found.  Condition — please read carefully and review all photos: There is a small chip in the plastic just below one eye, visible in photos. The neck shows paint wear consistent with natural head movement over the years. Hands show light surface wear. Otherwise she presents and displays beautifully.  A charming addition to any vintage doll collection.  This item has been energetically prepared and is ready to find its new home.
