Vintage Handmade Ceramic China-Style Lady Doll 20 Inch Navy Satin Lace Dress

Lovely vintage handmade ceramic china head lady doll, mid-20th century, likely 1950s–1970s. Approximately 20 inches tall. Features a detailed ceramic head and shoulder plate with molded and hand-painted blue bodice, molded gold pendant neckace, and elaborate black glazed sausage curl hairstyle with red accent details. Exposed unpierced ears.  Hand-painted facial features including black eyes with lashes, defined brows, and bold red lips. Cloth stuffed body with ceramic lower legs, bare feet, and elongated ceramic hands and arms.  Dressed in navy blue satin gown with cream lace trim and gold rickrack at collar and cuffs, cream satin underskirt and lace petticoat.  This doll has been lovingly handled, intentionally cleaned, and energetically prepared for her next home.  Condition: Very good vintage condition. Minor crazing to ceramic face. Foot has a chip shown in picture Small seam separation at back bodice.  A charming display piece in the Victorian china head tradition.
