Vintage genuine fox fur shawl collar in a warm golden brown color. This is real fur, removed from a coat or cape. The fur is still soft and full with beautiful natural color variation and long silky guard hairs. Details: • Fur: 100% genuine fox fur • Style: Detachable curved shawl collar with tapered ends • Measurements: 24 long x 4 wide • Era: Estimated 1960s-1970s based on construction and lining • Lining: Quilted black polyester backing with hand stitching Condition: The fur itself is in fair vintage condition with good volume and color. The backing and hide show age-related dry rot: the twill binding is splitting, stitching is loose, and the pelt is brittle in areas. This is sold as-is for craft, display, or repurposing.
