Scott Robert STROBIE230      For full manual flash work in a portable package, the Strobie 230 Flash from Scott Robert features a powerful guide number of 164' at ISO 100 as well as a built-in 2.4GHz radio receiver for off-camera triggering up to 300' away with the optional Tiny Transmitter V3. The flash head has coverage for 35mm and longer focal lengths on full frame cameras as well as tilting from -7 to 90° and rotation of 270° for bounce. The manual controls on this unit also enable complete control over output from 1/1 to 1/128 power with 29 levels of adjustment. And, it features an exposure calculator guide on the flash head that will allow new users to easily determine settings for a proper exposure.  When radio transmission is unnecessary or unavailable, this unit has standard optical slave functionality with options for instant sync and skip pre-flash. Also, the Strobie 230 has an LED video light with an effective range up to 15'. Other features of this flash include a pull-out CTO gel for conversion to tungsten-balanced light, a PC sync port, and a power port for external battery packs. Additionally, it has a recycle time of just 3 seconds at full power, runs on 4 AA batteries, and comes with a stand and case.
