amazon kindle white 2nd generation ereader model d00701 keys 2gb working battery - euc (excellent used condition)! listing is for tablet only, you will need your own charger. - please see pictures for additional details. the amazon kindle white 2nd generation (released in 2009) has a few limitations when it comes to internet access, especially with newer 5g wi-fi networks and the phasing out of 2g/3g cellular networks. - older kindles, like the 2nd generation, do not support the 5 ghz wi-fi frequency band. - kindles released before 2021 also don't support wpa3 encryption. - to ensure connectivity, it's best to use a 2.4 ghz wi-fi network if your router supports both 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz. - kindle 2nd generation devices primarily rely on wi-fi for internet connectivity. without 2g/3g, they will no longer be able to connect to the internet. - as of august 17, 2022, store functionality has been removed from older kindle devices, including the 2nd generation. - this tablet was purchased preowned, and i have been unsuccessful in my attempts to log out of the existing user's account due to the type of wi-fi connection in my home. i am unable to help with disconnecting unfortunately, but there are a handful of very good books preloaded on here already which is a perk! thank you so much for checking out my closet! all items come from a pet-free and smoke-free home. will ship quickly and carefully! 📦⚡️ 🤍 new to poshmark? use this code at sign-up for $10 off: bedazzledkj 🤍
