Vintage 1960s Lucite Floral Cake Server Mid Century Pastry Server By Clear Float

Vintage 1960s Mid-Century Lucite & Stainless Steel Floral Pastry Server by Clear Float TM. This mid-century clear Lucite and stainless steel pastry server features a classic “floating handle” design popular in the 1950s–60s. Encased inside the transparent Lucite handle is a delicate sprig of real dried flowers, preserved and suspended so they appear to float freely. The natural variations and slight imperfections strongly suggest genuine botanicals rather than molded plastic florals. The blade is solid stainless steel with a gently curved form and a fine serrated edge on one side, making it functional for slicing and lifting cake or pie. The construction feels substantial and well balanced, with tight joins and no looseness at the handle connection. Perfect for bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, tea parties, or feminine table settings. Also makes a thoughtful vintage housewarming or hostess gift. Often referred to as a cake shovel, pie lifter, or pastry server. ⸻ Size & Condition • Era: 1960s, Size: 10 long x 2 wide. • Materials: stainless steel blade, clear Lucite handle • Handle contains real dried floral sprig • Edge: one side lightly serrated for cutting • Condition: excellent structural condition • Lucite shows very light surface scuffing consistent with age; remains clear and bright • No cracks, clouding, or looseness noted
