Description
Antique Edwardian-era postcard featuring a romantic tinted lithograph of a couple kissing by the sea. The front includes the charming sentiment: 'You're my little fish', he said, 'Promise me, that we shall wed.' This authentic piece of ephemera was mailed from Conroe, Texas, on February 14, 1908 (Valentine's Day) to an address in Dallas. Printed in Germany as part of the T.E.L. Theochrom Serie No. 1096, it retains its original green one-cent Benjamin Franklin stamp. A wonderful addition for collectors of vintage valentines, Edwardian fashion, or Texas postal history.
