Vintage 1950's Pilliod Wooden Chest Box Swanton Ohio Cedar Jewelry Box Rustic

Vintage wooden chest box by Pilliod of Swanton, Ohio, featuring beautiful natural wood grain with visible knots, burls, and warm tonal variation throughout.  This small chest has a classic trunk-style design with metal banding, decorative grommets, and a brass-tone latch closure that can accommodate a small lock if desired. Side hardware adds to the vintage chest aesthetic.  The wood has been conditioned and retains a pleasant natural wood scent. Corners are constructed with finger joints (box joints), adding both strength and visual character.
