Vintage 1970s Aladdin Giftware Baseball Boy Night Light Ceramic Bisque Lamp

Vintage 1970s ceramic baseball player night light with classic big-eyed character styling, glowing warmly from within and ready for the ball field with bat, glove, and uniform. This adorable Aladdin Giftware night light features a cheerful little baseball boy dressed in a crisp white pinstriped uniform with red accents, matching cap, glove, bat, and oversized shoes. His bright blue eyes and slightly mischievous expression give him that unmistakable retro nursery decor personality that was popular in the 1960s and 1970s. Made from porcelain bisque ceramic with a softly textured matte finish, the figure sits atop a metallic scalloped base that allows the warm bulb light to glow through the openings underneath. When illuminated, the light softly shines through the ceramic body, giving the figure a cozy nighttime glow. The underside retains its original Aladdin Giftware Los Angeles, California label along with the Underwriters Laboratories portable lamp label. Includes original cord with inline toggle switch and working bulb. Condition: Very good vintage working condition. No cracks or chips noted to the ceramic figure. Light general age wear and mild finish wear around the metallic scalloped base edges consistent with age. Original wiring and toggle switch work properly. Includes bulb.
