Description
Vintage Torreon Mexico lion ashtray with raised lion head center, ornate border detail, and warm copper tone finish. A striking mid century cast metal ashtray marked TORREON, featuring a dimensional lion head at center, four cigarette rests, and decorative scroll border. The aged copper tone finish and natural patina give it strong old world character, making it equally appealing for bar decor, desk styling, or as a small catchall tray. Collected for its bold Mexican souvenir metalwork and sculptural animal motif, this piece works well in tobacciana collections, masculine interiors, library decor, or layered vintage displays. Condition: Good vintage condition with age appropriate wear. Surface patina, oxidation, and finish wear consistent with age. Small casting irregularities on underside. No cracks or structural damage noted. Measurements: • 5.25 in diameter • 0.75 in tall • 5.4 oz
