❤️ Signed Native American Zuni Fetish Hand Carved Bear with Real Turquoise Eyes

This finely hand-carved Native American bear fetish is sculpted from a softly translucent, earthy-toned stone consistent with serpentine, a material commonly used by Zuni carvers for its smooth texture and subtle color variations. The figure is rendered in a low, grounded stance, embodying the bear’s symbolism of strength, protection, and introspection. Its surface shows gentle natural striations and tonal shifts from warm tan to deeper gray, enhancing the organic feel of the piece. Small, carefully set turquoise inlays form the eyes and an additional accent atop the head, adding a striking contrast and traditional spiritual significance. The carving is signed on the underside, indicating the artist’s authorship, and the compact scale—shown beside a coin—highlights its detailed craftsmanship and collectible nature. There is a slight crack near the signature. It does not affect the integrity of the piece.
