Antique Victorian Child Pinafore Apron – Floral Stripe Eyelet Lace Cottagecore

A little ghost from someone's childhood. This antique child's pinafore — pulled from the estate of a 91-year-old woman — is the kind of piece that stops you cold. Deep burgundy and brown floral stripe cotton, trailing wildflowers in pink, blue, and white, trimmed in ivory broderie anglaise eyelet at the chest, armholes, generous front pocket, and hem. Wooden buttons at the bib. Elasticized waist with good stretch.  The fabric is rich and intact; there is minor age-related yellowing consistent with its years, but overall condition is excellent for its age. Offered as-is so you can care for it according to your own methods and materials.  Measures approximately 27 inches long, 10-inch waist with additional stretch.  A genuine piece of domestic history.
