☾ Vintage baroque heavily carved grape cluster + leaf wall shelf / sconce

This decorative vintage wall shelf/sconce features a heavily carved grapevine motif. Mediterranean or Baroque style with grape clusters and large, detailed leaves. Assumed to be solid wood based on weight (a little under 5 pounds) but has been painted a cocoa brown color and highlighted with gold shimmer/lowlighted with a tiny bit of black. Closely resembles the Swiss Black Forest tradition, which is famous for intricate wood carvings inspired by nature, including foliage and fruit. Good vintage condition. Only a couple of smaller chips and marks on the top. One dent and two very small holes on the shelf surface. See photos. 9” tall, 14.25” wide, deepest part of shelf surface is 4.75”
