Vintage Lucite Watch Dial Pendant MCM Teardrop Necklace Gold Tone

Unique mid-century modern pendant featuring an authentic Swiss watch dial preserved inside a faceted Lucite teardrop.  The dial reads “Superlite – Antimagnetic – Swiss,” markings found on vintage mid-20th century watch dials. These dials were often repurposed into Lucite art jewelry during the mod era.  Set in a brushed gold tone modernist frame and hanging on a gold chain, this is a classic example of MCM watch-parts jewelry.  The watch dial is decorative and not intended to function.  Good vintage condition with minor age-appropriate wear to the metal. Lucite is clear and bright with no cracks or chips.
