This is the character Ten (天) to be affixed to the ceiling when decorating a Shinto altar or Buddhist altar.
It was made using a laser cutting machine.
The cut surface is finished with gold acrylic paint.
Since people attach it in different ways, nothing is intentionally attached to the back.
Please rest assured that we carefully package it with a plywood board on the back to prevent breakage during delivery.
