Pick-up only in Shimotsu-cho, Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture.
This appears to be an authentic Nagoya Buddhist altar from the Higashi Honganji school. My mother purchased it about 50 years ago for around 1 million yen. It was used only once for a memorial service and has been largely unused since. However, it has been moved twice, resulting in several scratches on the main body and at the joint of the lower section.
There is also some verdigris on the metal fittings.

Top board width:
72 cm (W) x 57 cm (D) x 7 cm (H) - this part is removable.
There are protrusions on the upper part of the main body to secure the top board (located on the upper part of the main body, hidden by the top board: 56 cm (W) x 45 cm (D) x 3 cm (H)).
Upper section of the main body:
66.5 cm (W) x 55 cm (D) x 110.5 cm (H)
Lower section of the main body:
72 cm (W) x 57 cm (D) x 49.5 cm (H)
The interiors of the many drawers are almost new, but the hanging decorations inside are slightly dented.
