[Details]

Hayabuma Shrine is a historic shrine founded in 1217 by Kagesane, the elder brother of Kajiwara Kagetoki. It is widely known for its divine virtue of everything going well.
The shrine grounds were located at an elevation of 12 meters, but there is a Nade-uma (petting horse) statue that withstood the 15-meter tsunami of the Great East Japan Earthquake. Visitors constantly come to gently pet its head, legs, and body, wishing for everything to go well.

The enshrined deity is Ukamama-no-mikoto, who is believed to bring blessings for abundant harvests, business prosperity, and improved financial fortune. Furthermore, due to the historical event where First Kagesane prayed for the safe childbirth of Hojo Masako at the command of Minamoto no Yoritomo, and a son (Minamoto no Yoriie) was safely born, it is also known as a guardian deity for safe childbirth and child-rearing.
