Limited Edition: Nezu Shrine Reiwa 8 (2026) Azalea Festival Kirie Goshuin

【About Nezu Shrine】
Nezu Shrine, counted among the Tokyo Ten Shrines, is one of Tokyo's most ancient shrines, said to have a history of over 1900 years. It is known for various blessings, including warding off evil, matchmaking, and business prosperity.
The current shrine buildings were constructed by Tokugawa Tsunayoshi, the fifth shogun of the Edo shogunate, and are designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan as a masterpiece of Gongen-zukuri architecture, preserving their appearance from that era.
Within the shrine grounds, vermilion Senbon Torii (thousand torii gates) and historic shrine buildings remain beautifully preserved, creating a popular power spot enveloped in a serene and solemn atmosphere despite being in the heart of the city.

The Azalea Festival held particularly in spring is famous, with approximately 3,000 azalea plants of about 100 varieties vividly coloring the shrine grounds.
The scenery of colorful azaleas in full bloom is truly breathtaking and has become a representative spring tradition of Nezu Shrine, attracting many visitors every year.

【About Goshuin】
This is a gorgeous kirie (paper-cut) goshuin featuring the spring specialty of Nezu Shrine, the azalea, as its motif.
The delicate kirie art expresses the beauty of azaleas in full bloom, creating a special piece that seems to capture the spring scenery itself.
The azalea flowers, rendered with intricate designs, evoke the seasonal colors unique to Nezu Shrine, presenting a beauty akin to a work of art despite being a goshuin. The dynamic effect of the butterfly's wings, which appear to flutter when lifted three-dimensionally, is also captivating ??
Amidst the splendor, there is a solemn atmosphere of the shrine, making it a popular auspicious item that signifies the arrival of spring and is also great for social media.

It offers a special feeling unique to seasonal limited editions, recommended not only for those who enjoy collecting goshuin but also for those who appreciate vibrant and beautiful things?
