The fabric has a rough texture, and the indigo-dyed Japanese pattern gives it a deep, hand-dyed atmosphere that evokes a sense of charm. The Japanese aesthetic is perfect for a Goshuincho (temple/shrine stamp book) case.
The lining is a black kanoko (fawn spot) pattern.

Both the outer and lining fabrics are interfaced with a thin fusible interfacing.
