Mikurajima Burl Wood Special Grade Burl with Kokutan Peacock Burl Core Case, Double Coat Glass Finish

Mikurajima Island Mulberry Burl Grain x Black Persimmon Peacock Grain Premium Wood Lead Case (Round)

This is a premium wood lead case combining the rare materials of Mikurajima Island Mulberry Burl Grain and Black Persimmon Peacock Grain.
Mikurajima Island Mulberry is extremely rare due to conservation efforts. The burl grain parts are especially unusual, featuring a beautiful appearance with complex grain patterns emerging from a golden background.

The cap uses Peacock Grain, considered the highest grade of Black Persimmon. Its unique pattern of black and light colors creates an accent, giving it a strong presence despite its small size.

Not only can it be used as a practical lead case, but it's also a highly collectible item that allows you to enjoy the combination of premium woods. It's finished with a special feel that lets you appreciate the charm of premium wood just by carrying it.

The barrel uses a metal tube, and the lid uses highly durable compressed cork.

The lead case is designed for standard-sized (AIn) mechanical pencil leads.

It pairs well with wooden barrel pens from brands like Kobo Setsu and Nohara Kougei.
