Remade old wooden box - Miscellaneous box - Clothing tray - Remade rice cake box
16.50 $
Description
This is a remade vintage mochi box (morobuta).
It has been painted with oil stain (oak color) and decorated with fabric from a disassembled kimono.
It was made with the image of the wooden trays often found in ryokans, used to hold yukata sets. Please use it as you like.
As I am a complete amateur, there may be unevenness or missed spots in the paint.
The wooden box itself is about 70 years old, so it has chips, cracks, and other imperfections.
It has been finished to retain its vintage feel?!
Thank you for your understanding in this regard.
