Domestic Hemp - Tochigi Hemp - Single Strand
11.22 $
Description
Purchased directly from a hemp farmer in Tochigi Prefecture.
Hemp is an indispensable sacred tool for Shinto rituals at shrines and other sacred sites.
Shimenawa (sacred ropes) and Suzuo (bell ropes) used to create barriers, and Gohei (wands with paper streamers) used to purify spaces, are now made with paper, but they were originally made of hemp.
Simply having hemp creates a comfortable space. Please try transforming your home into an iyashirochi (a place of healing and comfort).
This is for one strand of purified hemp.
As this is a natural product, please understand that the size, color, and texture of each strand will vary before making your purchase.
