This is a set of a cap top and cap ring from a Montblanc fountain pen from the 1950s. It is, of course, made of celluloid. Removed from a 146.
There is no crest on the ring, so it is not from the very early period, but rather from what is known as a vintage 146.
There are no dents, dings, or cracks in the celluloid, and it fit properly with other 146 models.
This is not an item you will encounter often.
*The ink and the three vintage Montblanc pens are for reference images from the same era.
