【Imperial Household Agency Purveyor】Fukagawa Porcelain Arita Ware Vase, Lapis Lazuli, Gold Maki-e, Peony, Decorative Urn, Flower Arrangement Tool
This is a vase from Fukagawa Porcelain, a purveyor to the Imperial Household Agency and a treasure of Arita ware.
This piece is characterized by its transparent and beautiful cobalt blue (Fukagawa Blue), which is synonymous with Fukagawa Porcelain.
The contrast between the large, outlined flowers and the delicately applied gold accents is exceptionally luxurious, creating a special presence not only in Japanese-style rooms but also as an interior decoration for Western-style rooms and entrances.
