BACCARAT GOUVIEUX
Old Baccarat Crystal
Gouvieux / Gouvieux Liqueur (Shot) Glasses - Set of 5
The Rohan series from Baccarat has been loved for generations. This listing is for a set of 5 Gouvieux liqueur glasses, which are no longer manufactured and are characterized by their barrel shape.
The arabesque pattern, created with a delicate acid etching technique, is rendered more vividly than on modern pieces. You can simultaneously enjoy the smooth, slick texture of the crystal and its transparent clarity.
Although they fit charmingly in the palm of your hand, their moderate thickness and intricate decoration give them a substantial presence despite their small size.
We recommend them not only for after-dinner drinks but also for enjoying well-chilled sake or strong spirits served neat as shot glasses. They also add a touch of elegance to your table when used for honey or sauces, accompanying dishes and desserts.
The uniformity and sparkle created by having a set of 5 is highly appealing, both as practical antiques and as collectibles. We hope you will enjoy them for many years to come.
