BOHEMIA Bohemian Crystal Egermann Wine Glasses for Cold Sake, Pair

Red and Green Pair

In the 19th century, red glass was believed to possess magical healing powers and was highly popular. B. Friedrich Egermann spent 16 years and succeeded in creating this red glass in 1832. Since then, the Egermann company has continued to produce traditional works using almost the same techniques.

From that era, many of these red glasses were made with Rococo-style designs featuring shell motifs, and others with Bohemian Forest scenes of castles and birds expressed through hand-cutting (engraving).

Ideal for cold sake, plum wine, and more. The wide opening also makes them suitable for desserts or small appetizers.
