These glasses are from Villeroy & Boch, a long-established German ceramic brand founded in 1748. It developed as a royal purveyor under the patronage of the Habsburg family, following Meissen. In 1836, it merged with the Villeroy family and was one of the first to industrialize, and is now known as one of the world's top three ceramic manufacturers, alongside Meissen and Royal Copenhagen.

These glasses are designed with the American city of Boston in mind, featuring a glamorous diamond-cut pattern. Their charm lies in their solid thickness and the sparkle created by the hexagonal pattern. The transparency of the glass provides an elegant and substantial feel. With their stable short-stemmed form and large capacity, they are perfect for beautifully showcasing various drinks, including the currently popular cream soda.
