This is a hand-painted Michiyuki coat, meticulously crafted by Komatsuya, a renowned name in Kyoto for its high-quality dyed kimono fabrics.
It features Itome Yuzen dyeing, a technique rarely seen these days.
There is a slight yellowing around the center back of the coat lining.
We believe it would create a wonderful atmosphere even if used as material for crafting.
It's a shame to let this Michiyuki coat remain unused.
