This cat hanten (Japanese half-coat) features:
- A glossy futon fabric for the outer material, adorned with beautiful peonies and plum blossoms.
An eye-catching, attractive pattern. A winter essential!

- Soft corduroy fabric is used for the lining and ties, creating a comfortable and warm feel.

- An inner pocket for a heat pack has been added.
- Filled with futon cotton for exceptional warmth. A separate inner bag was created and sewn vertically and horizontally to prevent the cotton from shifting.
Perfect for wearing under outerwear when shoveling snow, etc.
I work on my sewing machine at night, so this helps me stay warm and save on heating costs.
It also kept my niece warm while she was studying for her exams.

This is a handmade item. There may be slight imperfections, such as uneven stitching (sewn with both machine and hand).

It warms the shoulders and back, providing relief from the cold in the early morning and at night. It can also be worn while sleeping.

~ Care Instructions ~
Like a futon: Hand wash about once a year with a gentle pressing motion.
DO NOT use a spin dryer! The cotton will shift.
Hand wash, gently squeeze, and hang to dry. Reshape and dry flat.
