【Unused】Satsuma Ware Kuro Satsuma Kinko Tougei Kuro Chiyoko Choka Ochoko 5 cups with wooden box

This is an authentic evening drinking set featuring a Kurojoka (black sake flask) and 5 sake cups from Kinko Tougei, a prestigious maker of Satsuma-yaki (Kuro-Satsuma), a traditional craft of Kagoshima Prefecture.

This is a truly beautiful piece with a distinctive, sturdy, flat form and a deep, lustrous jet-black finish. By placing pre-diluted sweet potato shochu (maewari) in this joko and gently warming it over low heat, you can enjoy authentic shochu with exceptional mellowness and enhanced aroma.
